Services Info

We provide a full range of residential and commercial plumbing services across the Southern Highlands, including blocked drains, hot water system repair and installation, bathroom renovations, backflow prevention, pipe relining, leaking taps, water leak detection, CCTV drain inspections and bushfire property protection. Take a look at our full services list for more detail.

Yes. Blocked drains are one of the most common jobs we handle across the Southern Highlands, usually caused by tree root intrusion, grease and debris build-up, or old and damaged pipework. We use CCTV drain cameras to pinpoint the exact cause and high-pressure water jetting to clear stubborn blockages without damaging your pipes. Read more on our blocked drains page.

Recurring blockages usually point to a deeper issue, such as tree roots, a collapsed section of pipe, or ageing infrastructure. A CCTV drain inspection lets us see exactly what’s happening underground so we can recommend a lasting fix rather than a temporary one.

It depends on the fault and the age of your system. Common issues like faulty thermostats, heating elements or pilot lights can usually be repaired. If your system is older or keeps breaking down, replacement is often more cost-effective in the long run. George will assess your system and give you honest advice on which option makes the most sense, whether that’s a storage, instant or heat pump system.

Pipe relining is a trenchless method of repairing damaged or cracked pipes from the inside, without excavating your yard or garden. It’s a faster, less disruptive and more cost-effective alternative to traditional pipe replacement, and it’s one of our specialities across the Southern Highlands. See our pipe relining page for more.

This depends on your property’s risk factors, such as irrigation systems, pools, or certain commercial fittings, along with your local council’s requirements. Many commercial properties and strata buildings are required by law to have a tested device. George can assess your property and confirm whether one is needed. Learn more on our backflow prevention page.

Most backflow prevention devices require testing annually, though this can vary depending on the hazard rating of your property. We’ll schedule your next test automatically so you never have to chase it up, and you’ll receive a written report suitable for your compliance records or council submission.

Yes, we manage all the plumbing aspects of bathroom renovations across the Southern Highlands, from new tapware and shower installations through to full re-plumbing. Check out our bathroom renovations page for more information.

We offer specialised plumbing solutions designed to help protect your property from bushfire-related damage, which is particularly relevant given the Southern Highlands’ bushfire risk. This can include static water supply systems and other fire-fighting infrastructure. Head to our bushfire property protection page to find out more.

Yes. We work with offices, retail stores, restaurants and other commercial properties across the Southern Highlands, covering everything from routine maintenance and repairs to backflow prevention, hot water systems, drain cleaning and gas fitting. Our commercial plumbing page has more detail.

A CCTV drain inspection uses a specialist camera to look inside your pipes and identify the exact cause of a blockage or fault, whether that’s tree roots, a crack, or a collapsed section. We recommend one whenever drains block repeatedly or the cause of a problem isn’t obvious from the surface.

Yes. Using advanced leak detection equipment, our team can locate hidden leaks within your home or business before they cause serious damage or a spike in your water bill. Visit our water leak detection page to find out more
